3. Thannude sannidhou vannavarkkevarkkum
   Thakka prathiphalam nalkaathirunnilla
   Dukhitharkk-aashwaasam vishannorkk-aahaaram
   Kurudarkku kaazhchayum moodarkku jnjaanavum
   Kodukkuvaanavanottum madichathilla-
    
4. Naamellaam nammude swantha vazhikalil
   Naanaavidha sukhabhogangal thedi
   Aamayam neekkuvaan kaalvari thannil
   Aa marakkurishil paathakar naduvil
   Maamaranam ninakkaay sahichu-

Meaning:

My soul, sing Your praise
To Jesus, my savior and deliverer.

Think of how He left behind
The beautiful songs of the heavenly angels,
The loving care of His Father,
And His endless glory.
He humbled Himself, came into this world,
And was born among us.
What incredible humility!

2.
He is the source and purpose of everything,
The rightful Lord of all creation,
The full expression of God’s glory,
The perfect revelation of God’s nature,
And the One who sustains all things
By His word.

3.
He never failed to give a fitting response
To everyone who came into His presence.
He gave comfort to those who were hurting,
Food to the hungry,
Sight to the blind,
And wisdom to those who lacked understanding.
He never hesitated to help them.

4.
While we were each following our own ways,
Seeking all kinds of pleasures in life,
He came to take away our sickness and sin.
On the cross at Calvary,
Among criminals,
He endured death for us.
