1.
When my Lord comes, all my troubles will disappear.
What great joy that day will bring me!
On that day I will be united with Jesus, my Lord—
That is certain.
And the enemy will be put to shame.

The One who called me,
Who justified me,
Will also glorify me.
On that day He will clothe me with glory.
My lowly body will be transformed from its humble state
And brought into glorious honor.
His kingdom will become my kingdom.

Everything I now believe in by faith
I will see with my own eyes.
Yes, on that day I will see it before me.
I will see my Lord Jesus
With His hands and feet bearing the marks of the nails.
On that day I will finally see Him face to face.

None of the work I have done for the Lord
Will ever be in vain.
On that day everything will be revealed clearly.
He will give each person the reward they deserve,
Without favoritism,
Not forgetting a single thing that was done for Him.

5.
When we consider the glory that will be revealed on that day,
The sufferings of this present life
Will seem so very small.
This world will have no more sorrow or impurity.
We will live beautifully and joyfully forever,
Singing “Hallelujah!” endlessly.
