What joy it is that my Lord and Master leads me by His grace!
What joy it is that, giving me His very life,
He grants me victory and faithfully sustains me!

In this world, where many kinds of fears surround me,
Your unfailing grace is poured out upon me.
This fills my heart with great joy,
giving me peace day and night, without fear.
Oh, what joy!

When many trials come my way,
Jesus comes near to me and says,
“My grace is sufficient for you.”
He speaks these words to me every day
and fills my heart with joy.
Oh, what joy!

By His mighty hands,
He holds me up and sustains me through His grace.
When my own strength and understanding fail,
He gives me courage and keeps me safe.
Oh, He truly does!

Though this world is filled with people
living in disorder and turmoil,
I can continue to live with peace and joy
because of His divine mercy.
Oh, what divine mercy!
