   Kenu kenu nee praanan vedinju
   Thava chuvadukale anugamippavarkki-
   Yavaniyil avashatha-avakaashamaam-
    
3. Nee mahonnatha naamam dharichu
   Bhoomi vaanidum kaalam aduthu
   Innividettam khinnatha ettor-
   Kkunnatha-padavikal annu tharum    
   
                                                     

Meaning;

When the lowly cry out,
You listen to them with compassion,
O faithful Keeper.

Because injustice has filled this world,
People living here cry out in fear.
How much longer must they wait
For the day they long for—
The day when they will finally rejoice
And see justice prevail?

2.
You humbled Yourself completely
And went even to the cross.
You cried out in anguish
And gave up Your life.
Those who follow in Your footsteps
May have to endure suffering
And hardship in this world.

3.
The time is drawing near
When You will bear the name above every name
And reign over the earth in glory.
Then those who suffer greatly today,
Those who have endured sorrow and hardship,
Will receive honor and a place of glory.
