I will praise You forever, my beloved Savior, Jesus, my God!
You came into this world without sin,
and became the One who takes away my sins.

You came from the heights of heaven,
the King of kings, and came to this world for me.
You shed Your precious blood and redeemed me in love;
You drew me close to Yourself and held me in Your arms.

for even in the midst of my troubles, Your words bring me joy.
You take away my weaknesses and burdens.
Good and gracious Lord, You are the lover of my soul.

My Lord and source of life,
give me Your love so that I may keep the flame of love burning within me.
Love is the essence of my song;
You are the beautiful and perfect expression of truth.

You who came into this world for me—
when will I finally come and see You?
Until that day,
You alone are the support and hope of my little boat of life.
