Jesus your Lord is stretching out
His hands, marked by the nails,
Calling you to come
And rest upon His breast.
Will you hear His call?

If you delight yourself
In the pleasures of this world
And live for earthly treasures,
Remember this:
Beyond them lies an eternity
Filled with sorrow and suffering.
Think carefully and turn to Him.

2.
If you follow Yahweh,
The Good Shepherd,
His sheep need fear no trouble.
He is their faithful Friend;
With mighty strength,
He will carry them upon His shoulders.

3.
The Heavenly Father placed
The punishment for your sins
Upon His own Son.
On the cross of Calvary,
Jesus bore it all
And was forsaken,
So that you might be freed
From the punishment of death.

4.
So that your soul might escape
The suffering of the grave
And be delivered from dreadful death,
He calls you to become
An heir of eternal life
And the everlasting joy of heaven.
