O Lord of the heavenly hosts,
O One who removes the fear of sin,
O Protector of the humble and needy—
praise be to You every day!

You left the heights of heaven,
came down to this earth,
bore the curse,
and redeemed sinners.
O Most High God, praise be to You!

You have given me comfort and strength
and removed my troubles.
You have drawn me close to Your holy face.
