Meaning:

O Lamb of God, You are worthy
Of all honor and worship.
Wisdom and power, riches and strength,
Praise and honor—all belong to You.

Our own efforts can never break
The terrible bondage of the devil.
But Jesus, through the shedding of Your blood,
You fought and won this great battle
And set us free.

2.
To fulfill everything required by the law
And remove its curse,
You offered Your body
As the sacrifice for our sins,
Making atonement for us.

3.
To conquer death,
You offered Yourself—the faithful Servant of God—
Through the eternal Spirit.
And because You did this,
We who are mortal have received life.

So that we might enjoy fellowship with God
Even in the face of death,
You were forsaken by God
And gave Your life on the cross for us.

Who can bring any charge against us now?
Where are our enemies?
The battle is over;
There is peace through the precious, holy blood
That You shed for us.

Sing Hallelujah! Remember that Christ is good!
Let all creation bow down
