What joy, what wonderful joy,
because Jesus has come into my heart!

The burden of sin has been lifted,
and a song of thanksgiving rises from my lips.

All my sorrow has come to an end,
and joy has filled my heart. Hallelujah!

When my heart is troubled and aching,
Jesus is there to comfort me.

When my eyes fill with tears,
His hands are there to wipe them away.

What a blessed and joyful life this is!
