Meaning:

1.
God does everything, remembering what is good for me.
All that is good comes from His divine hands;
there is no true goodness in this world apart from Him.

2.
Even though my Lord Jesus may allow me
to go through many troubles and sufferings,
I will never become discouraged,
because I trust in Him.

3.
I know that this world is not my true homeland,
nor is there any earthly home where I will remain forever.
Therefore, I understand that all these troubles
are ultimately for my good.

4.
Even if He gives me discipline,
my Savior's hand is still with me.
Whatever He chooses to do,
nothing He does is without purpose.

5.
When I think of my home in eternal glory,
the sorrows I experience in this life seem so small.
Realizing how insignificant they are,
I will spend all my life singing His praises.
