Meghathil vanneedumbol
Munpil nilkkunna-thaam sodarodothu
Njaan thamburaane vaazhthidum-
 
 
Meaning:
 
1.
I shall go to the land of bliss,
To my land of bliss I shall go;
Arriving there, in the company of the pure,
I shall praise Jesus.
 
2.
I forsake all fleeting pleasures—
All the joys of this world;
Mindful of my Lord and King,
And for the sake of His holy name.
 
3.
As I contemplate the bliss of heaven,
My heart overflows with joy;
Leaping with delight, I shall soon arrive
In that realm of joy.
 
4.
Day by day, keeping my eyes fixed on my Beloved,
I have served along the righteous path;
Soon, I shall be held close to His bosom.
 
5.
When the loving Lord Jesus returns swiftly upon the clouds,
Together with the brethren who stand before Him,
I shall praise the Lord.

സ്വർഗ്ഗഭാഗ്യമോർക്കുമ്പോൾ-എന്‍റെ
ഉള്ളമാനന്ദിക്കുന്നേ
തുള്ളിക്കളിച്ചെന്‍റെ സന്തോഷരാജ്യത്തിൽ
വേഗം ഞാൻ ചേർന്നിടുമേ-

ഓരോ ദിവസവും ഞാൻ-എന്‍റെ
പ്രിയനെ നോക്കി ക്കൊണ്ട്
നേരായ പാതയിൽ സേവനം ചെയ്തു
തൻ മാർവ്വോടണഞ്ഞീടുമേ-

5.
അൻപുള്ള യേശു പരൻ വേഗം
മേഘത്തിൽ വന്നീടുമ്പോൾ
മുൻപിൽ നില്ക്കുന്നതാം സോദരോടൊത്തു
ഞാൻ തമ്പുരാനെ വാഴ്ത്തിടും-
