Meaning:
1.
Praise be to God who has granted such great victory,
Praise be to the Savior who has cared for us thus far;
May He continue to show grace and sustain us,
And lead us onward according to His divine will.
2.
It is not by our own standing that we remain; it is God who has kept us,
It is not by our own striving that we have gained; has God not provided everything?
As we reflect upon the ways He has led us,
Let us sing praises to the Lord with hearts full of gratitude.
3.
When all possibilities had faded away,
And even brethren had drifted far apart,
The Lord Jesus—who restored us through His love—
Has granted us victory in all things.
4.
When the ranks of the enemy claim that He will not lift you up,
And spread the fear that He will tear you down,
Jesus—mighty in His deeds—
Grants the grace to raise a shout of victory.
