Jesus, my Lord and the love of my soul,
You are the One who gave me life.
You knew all my sorrows,
Paid the great debt I could never repay,
And wiped away my tears.

When I was living as a sinner
And running far from the right path,
You, my Shepherd, came searching for me.
You found this wandering and helpless servant
And brought me onto the holy path.

You came to make me blessed in You
And now You have become King within my heart.
You have given me Your righteousness,
Divine joy,
And everlasting peace.

You carried all my burdens
So that I could live without being weighed down.
You alone are my refuge,
The light of my hope,
And the blessing that comes from Your mercy.

You promised, “I will come very soon.”
I eagerly wait for You,
Longing for the day when You will come
And bring me into Your glorious kingdom.
