   Thaay marakkaam enkilum enne marakka snehithane
   Evarum enne kai vedinjidukil yeshu thaan enn-arikil kaanum
   Ethu khedavum theerum njaan thirumaaril chaaridumbol
    
2. Enne thedi vin nagaram vittu mannil vannavanaam
   Ente paapa shaapamakattaan jeevan -thannavanaam
   Enthinum haa! thanthiru sneha -
   Paasha bendham azhikkuvaan kazhiya
   Ennum ennum njaanini-yavanilum avan-ini yennilumaam
    
3. Maanasame! chaaruka dinavum ee divya snehithanil
   Dyaanam cheyyuka thanthiru sneha
   Madhurima santhathavum ethu khedam varikilum patharaa
   Yeshu thaan ninn aasrayamathinaal
   Anthyatholam poruthuka kurishinn uthamanaam bhadanaay

Meaning:

Jesus is greater than anyone;
He is the Friend of my soul.
Even if a mother could forget her child,
My faithful Friend will never forget me.
If everyone else abandons me,
I will still find Jesus right beside me.
Every sorrow will disappear
When I rest upon His heart.

He left the heavenly city
And came to earth seeking me.
He gave His life
To remove my sin and its curse.
Oh, I can never break free
From the bonds of His holy love.
From now on and forever,
I belong to Him,
And He lives in me.

My soul, draw near every day
To this divine Friend.
Meditate continually
On the sweetness of His wonderful love.
Whatever sorrow may come,
Do not be shaken,
For Jesus Himself is your refuge.
Fight on until the very end
As a faithful soldier of the cross.
