What wonderful peace there is in the presence of Jesus!
He brings comfort and healing to my troubled heart.

1.
Those who seek the pleasures of this world
Will eventually fall into sorrow.
But those who draw near to Christ's presence
Will experience everlasting joy.

2.
Even when pain becomes intense
And those close to me turn away,
I will rest against the heart of Jesus,
My unchanging and faithful Friend.

3.
There is no other place of comfort,
And no other refuge for me.
Even in the face of death,
There is peace in the presence of Christ.

4.
When the Lord comes,
All my tears will finally be wiped away.
From then on, I will hide myself safely in Him
And never be separated from Him again.
