Jesus my Savior is a good friend to me,
More precious than anything in this world.

By His Holy Spirit, He stays with me always—
He is so gracious and kind.

He watches over me continually,
Guarding me like the apple of His eye.

Throughout my journey in this world,
He guides my every step
Moment by moment.

He invites me to bring
All my troubles and difficulties
Continually before Him.

When I am hurt and weary
Because of the sorrows I face in this world,
He fills my heart with joy and comfort.

From the fullness of His grace,
Day after day and moment by moment,
He provides for all my needs.

Even at the hour of death,
He will protect me from every enemy
And bring me safely into the blessed eternal home.
