Meaning:

Let us sing praises to mighty Jesus;
Today, let us proclaim the glorious name of our Lord!

1.
The One who created everything
lay on the grass, wrapped in simple strips of cloth,
beside His mother.
Wise men saw the Son of God,
offered Him their gifts,
and worshiped Him with praise.

2.
When Jesus was twelve years old,
He entered the temple with divine wisdom.
He explained the meaning of the Scriptures with understanding,
and the teachers of the Law marveled at Him
and showed Him great respect.

3.
At the time Jesus was baptized,
a voice came from heaven saying
that God was pleased with His Son.
It was fitting for everyone to hear
and obey His word.

4.
To show sinners the straight path of righteousness,
Jesus carried our sins and went to the cross.
He became our Redeemer,
bringing salvation to those lost under the curse,
and He rose again to give us life.

5.
The God who judges sin
has also provided forgiveness through His blood.
Through the blood He shed to give us life,
those who have been cleansed
should continually praise Him.

6.
Jesus is preparing homes for us
in His Father's dwelling place
and will soon return.
On that day, everyone will bow before Him
and confess,
“Jesus Christ is Lord!”
