Jesus is the perfect embodiment of incomparable love,
the great Lord who became the joy of those in distress.
Isn’t His mercy and love well known?
It shines so clearly through the cross.

He takes away sin and its curse;
He fills us with great joy.
He brings us into His glorious dwelling
and protects us from danger
by His divine power.

When any sinner remembers his terrible sins,
weeps bitter tears,
and trusts the Lord with all his heart,
the Lord gladly gives him
new life.

This great and wondrous love
burns away all the impurity within me.
I will never forget such kindness;
as far as I am able,
I will faithfully proclaim this blessing.
