   Thante vishudha vaakyathil nammude jeevanaam
   Yeshuvin suvishesham-divyamaam upadesham
   
   Kelkkuka naam kaakkuka naam Jeevante vaakyangal
    
2. Daivavachanam jeevanum shakthiyum aakayaal
   Aathma rakshayundevanum ullathil kaikkondaal
   Aathma maranam maarum neethiyil avan vaazhum
    
3. Ajnane jnaaniyakkuvaan vachanam jnaanamaam
   Sathyathil athu kaakkuvaan swarggathin daanamaam
   Ozhiyaan nithya naasham kaalinnoru prakaasham
    
4. Sathya daivathin bhakthanmaar vachanam kaakkayaal
   Salpravruthikku shakthanmaar aakunnu nalkunaal
   Daiva mukha prasaadam nithyam avarkkaahlaadam
    
5. Lokangal avasaanikkum vaanavum illaathaam
   Daiva vaakku pramaanikkum bhakthano nithyanaam
   Vaattam maalinyam naasham illaathor avakaasham-

Meaning:

1. Let us sit at Jesus’ feet and listen,
   For His holy Word is our very life.
   The gospel of Jesus is divine teaching.

Let us listen, let us keep
The words that give us life.

1. Because God’s Word is life and power,
   Whoever receives it in the heart finds salvation.
   Spiritual death will pass away, and He will reign in righteousness.
2. God’s Word gives wisdom to the ignorant;
   It is a gift from heaven that keeps us in the truth.
   It is a light for our path, helping us escape eternal destruction.
3. Because God’s faithful people keep His Word,
   They grow stronger day by day to do good works.
   They enjoy God’s favor and rejoice continually in His presence.
4. The worlds will pass away, and even the heavens will disappear,
   But the believer who keeps God’s Word will live forever.
   An inheritance without decay, defilement, or destruction awaits them.
