The holy face of Jesus
is my greatest comfort
every single day.

When I remember how He lovingly redeemed me, His servant,
from this perishing world
and saved me with hope,
my heart is filled with gratitude.

When I meditate in my heart
on my Lord and Master,
the King of Heaven,
I am filled with His wonderful love.

When I sit at the feet of Jesus, my Lord,
and, by His grace, meditate
on the words of Scripture,
my soul finds peace and joy.

At the time of dawn,
when I rise early and draw near
to His holy feet,
my heart is filled with ever greater delight.

When various circumstances
come against me one after another
and each one brings its own trouble,
I find comfort in Him.

When I look upon the face of my Lord,
once so beautiful and radiant,
yet marked with so many wounds
and made sorrowful for my sake,
my heart is deeply moved.

And when He comes in glory
riding upon the clouds,
surrounded by the angels of heaven,
what radiant splendor and joy there will be!
