I am going today as a witness for Jesus.
I walk the path of the cross.
What a privilege and honor it is for me—
I am truly blessed!

1.
By faith I journey toward
My own eternal homeland.
I am a stranger in this world,
But in Christ I am blessed and secure.

2.
The glory, honor, wealth, and treasures
This world has to offer mean nothing to me.
I consider the reproach of Christ
To be my eternal treasure,
And so I press on.

3.
He is my Comforter,
The Author and Perfecter of my faith,
The Light of truth.
He gives me His light along the way
And faithfully leads me onward.

4.
Soon I will reach the new Jerusalem
And see my King.
With eternal joy and songs of praise,
I will come and worship
At His feet forever.
