Jesus, my Savior,
I come into Your presence
Carrying the burden of my sins.
O Mighty Lord, grant me Your salvation.

You who left Your place of glory
And humbled Yourself, coming down to earth—
Was it not for me
That You gave Your life upon the cross?

You who never sinned,
Yet were afflicted and exhausted—
Was it not for me
That You thirsted and cried out upon the cross?

3.
You who bore the curse and our sickness,
Who took upon Yourself our sin—
Was it not for me
That You suffered those wounds upon the cross?

4.
You carried my sins
And completely took away my curse.
From now on, surely,
I will live for You forever.
