1
You left the glory of heaven
And came to earth, taking on human form.
O divine Son who came as a man,
I remember Your glory every day
And bow before You in worship.
2
You died and conquered death on the cross,
And by Your grace, O treasure of mercy,
You gave eternal life to mortals.
I bow before You;
Your blessed feet are my refuge.
3
You were holy and knew no sin,
Yet You took our sin upon Yourself
And climbed Calvary’s cross.
You shed Your blood
And fulfilled God’s righteousness for me.
4
You created the whole universe by Your word,
Yet You offered Yourself as the perfect sacrifice,
Like a spotless lamb.
Remembering such incomparable mercy,
I bow before You in worship.
5
You showed such grace
That even I, once Your enemy,
Could become a child of God.
Realizing how unworthy I am of such grace
Here on earth, I praise You,
With tears falling as I remember
Your boundless mercy.
6
You remembered me in my lowly state,
Left the presence of the Father,
And came down so very low
To this earth for my sake.
With a heart overflowing with gratitude,
I bow before Your feet.
7
Until You come again from heaven
To gather Your people,
Guide me here on earth, O King.
By Your grace, let me always stand
Praising and glorifying Your name.
