Come, brothers and sisters, come with eagerness!
Come equipped and ready for the work.
Let us rebuild the walls of Jerusalem,
So that we will no longer live in shame and disgrace.

Day and night, let us remain ready and watchful,
Always prepared for the work.
Knowing that our enemies are nearby
And are determined to stop us,
Let us stand firm and keep working.

If we encourage one another
And work together in unity,
Those who mock and oppose us
Will become frightened and flee.
We will gain the victory!

Even if none of the great and influential people
Offers a hand to the Lord's work,
Our Leader is beside us to strengthen us
And bless the humble who depend on Him.

If we sow our seeds with tears,
We will one day reap a rich harvest with joyful shouts.
The day when our tearful eyes will be wiped dry
Is not far away.
