Bhoorasamaanasa maarnnidum- perggamos sabhe!
Nee shravikkennude vachanam
Aryamoorchayulliru dhaarayulla vaalvahikku-
Nnorahitha kulanaashan yeshuvothunnarikithu

saathaante simhaasanam
Ullidam avide eni-kkulla naamamathu ningal

Durnnayar vadhikkamoolam chhinnagaathranaaya pothum

Meaning:
Listen to my word, O church of Pergamum,
who harbours the worldy pleasure in your heart
The one who speaks to you is Jesus,
the One who holds the sharp, double-edged sword,
the destroyer of every evil.
1. I know where you live—
It is where Satan has his throne.
Yet you have held firmly to my name
and have not denied your faith in me.
You have stood faithfully by me.
2. Even when you lived among those hostile to you,
when my faithful witness was put to death,
and his body was torn apart,
you still did not abandon your faith in me.
For this, you deserve commendation.
3. Nevertheless, I have a few things against you.
There are some among you who follow the teaching of Balaam—
the one who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before God’s people,
leading them to eat food offered to idols
and to practice immoral ways.
There are also those among you
who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
4. Therefore, repent!
If you do not, I will come against them
and fight them with the sword of my mouth.
Because of this judgment,
their bodies will lie scattered along the road,
and they will become a source of stench and disgust.
5. To the one who overcomes,
the victor in the struggle of the Pergamum age,
I will give some of the hidden manna to eat.
I will also give him a white stone,
and written on that stone will be a new name—
a name known only to the one who receives it.
