Jesus, our great Lord,
Is mighty to comfort
All who take refuge in Him.
He redeems all who have become
Victims of destruction
Through the precious blood of the Lord.

Why does the world continue to struggle
Without a refuge,
Under the terrifying reign of death?
Through Christ’s death upon the cross,
The fear of hell and destruction
Has been overcome and brought to an end.

2.
Those who are weary and without a refuge,
Come quickly to Jesus.
Is there any other way
In this world?
Has any other Savior
Ever come to save us?

3.
For those who come into His presence,
Sorrow will come to an end,
And they will find comfort in this world.
Let us fall down and worship
At the feet of our King,
And proclaim the good things
He has done for us.
