He is living in heaven,
and soon He will return to this world

Because He has broken the terrible, poisonous power
of death that destroys life,
we no longer need to fear death.
We can boldly face death
and declare our victory over it.

Because my Jesus is alive,
I too will live forever.
I will never again have a life
separated from Him;
Jesus is everything to me.

My eternal home is not here on earth;
my true home is in glory
in the presence of Jesus.
I eagerly wait, counting the days
until I reach that heavenly home.
