Meaning:
O Crown and Glory of Kings, May You Reign!
You are the Lord Who Became the Sacrifice
To Take Away the Great Sin of the World.
1.
Because this humble one has entered into new life,
I will gladly praise You
And continually sing of Your victory, Lord.
2.
When I think of Your grace,
I realize that I have received the privilege of becoming Your child,
Even though I am one who has committed countless sins
And has reaped the consequences of my wrongdoing, Lord.
3.
When I stood trembling before the judgment of righteousness,
This sinner, despite being guilty,
Was made wonderfully blessed
And worthy through Your perfect righteousness.
4.
Reign as King and rule with Your righteousness,
O glorious Lord, shining in majesty.
Take charge of Your servant
And lead my life.
5.
What can I say about Your divine greatness?
Before Your holy presence, kings will fall down;
I too will praise You
Without holding anything back.
6.
They will come into Your glorious kingdom
With their offerings and gifts,
And bow before You without stumbling.
Their songs of praise will resound.
7.
Sinners will tremble and suffer before Your presence;
They will be filled with sorrow and fear
And, if possible, they will try to hide themselves from You.
8.
They will melt like wax before fire,
While You remain forever,
Firm and unchanging in heaven,
Reigning throughout all ages.
