1. Vishamam ereyerumbol vinakalaale neerumbol
   Karanju kanneer thukumbol arikil varunnath-eshuvaam-
    
2. Pirinju pokum priyarum kuranju pokum snehavum
   Niranja sneha naadhanaay arinju njaanen yeshuve-
    
3. Eliyayenne thaanguvaan enikkaayellaam karuthuvaan
   Ulaka-naadhan-eshuvunde kalanga venda thaan mathi-
    
4. Orukkunn-ente veedange orikkal njaanum pokume
   Marikkuvolam thante vela sharikku cheythu theernnenkil

Meaning:

Jesus is my refuge,
My only shelter and safe haven.

1.
When my troubles increase,
When I am overwhelmed by sorrow,
When I cry and shed my tears,
Jesus comes near to me.

2.
Loved ones may leave me,
And human love may grow cold,
But I have come to know Jesus
As the Lord whose love is overflowing.

3.
Jesus, the Lord of all creation, is there
To uphold me in my weakness
And provide everything I need.
So I need not be troubled—
He is all I need.

4.
He is preparing a home for me,
And one day I too will go there.
May I faithfully complete His work
And finish the task He has given me
Before I die.
