Jesus is my Savior;
He is forever my refuge,
the One who brings joy to all who trust in Him.

Even though today I live in this world as a stranger,
perhaps despised and rejected,
I am blessed in Christ, the One who is worthy of honor.
What greater blessing could I have? Oh, what joy!

Though many enemy forces may surround me
along the journey,
Christ, my Friend, is right beside me.
He gives me strength and carries me through.

Those who live as God's children in this world
and follow the way of the cross
will receive from their Leader what is good each day.
Even the hardships He allows are enough for me.

Because He is always with me
and will never abandon me,
even though I may live in a world of tears,
I can live with joy, free from anxiety.

How good my Beloved is!
He is exalted and forever worthy of praise.
He came into this world,
conquered death,
and gave life to humanity.
