Brave soldiers of Jesus, march forward courageously!
We already have the victory
To fight against the enemy.

We have absolutely nothing to fear;
We can overcome today.
Jesus Himself is always with us,
Our Commander and Leader.

Let us carry the banner of love
And march everywhere.
Let us blow the trumpets—
The mighty strongholds will fall!

3.
He has torn down the dividing wall of hostility
And has given us the Spirit of adoption,
Making us His own children.

4.
Raise high the banner of the Gospel
And boldly proclaim
The wonderful mystery of the cross.

Let us put on the belt of truth,
The breastplate of righteousness,
And the shoes that prepare us
To proclaim the true Gospel.

6.
We must raise the banner of salvation now,
So that others may see
The courage of a people who have been saved.

7.
Let us put on the helmet of salvation,
Take up the shield of faith,
And wield the sword of the Spirit—
The Word of our Savior.

8.
We have the banner of victory
To raise high today.
We are not given a spirit of slavery and fear;
We have no reason to be afraid.

9.
What do brave soldiers need
If not true courage?
There is absolutely no place
For cowardice among us.
