1.
The Lord God is my Shepherd;
I will never be in need.
He makes me lie down in green pastures
and leads me beside still waters.

He continually refreshes my soul
and leads me along His righteous paths.
Even when I walk through the darkest valley,
I have nothing to fear, for He is with me.

3.
The Most High is always with me;
His rod brings me comfort and assurance.
He prepares a feast for me
even in the presence of my enemies.

4.
Day after day, He anoints my head
with fragrant oil.
My cup overflows continually
with the abundant mercy of the Most High.

5.
Surely goodness and mercy
will follow me throughout all my days.
And I will dwell in the heavenly house of the Lord
for a long, blessed eternity.
