   Theerum santhaapamellaam cherum njaan thannarikil- 

Meaning:

Jesus, my source of comfort on this journey of faith,
Jesus is my refuge; therefore I have no fear at all.

When my heart is broken and my spirit is crushed,
He comes near to comfort me.

When I sink beneath the waves of trouble, He is all I need.
He takes my hand and lifts me up, driving away my fear and confusion.

Even when dangers surround me and I walk through dark and difficult paths,
He comes to my side, supports me, and leads me safely.

One day I will see my Beloved face to face.
Then all my sorrow will come to an end, and I will be with Him forever.
