Unnatha yaanrupa nandanane! thava
           Ponnu vadanamee njaanennu kaanum deva!

2. Vegam varunnu njaanevam-aruliyo-
   Raagiram ninachu njaan-aavalodirikkunnen-

Meaning:

O exalted and gracious Son of King Jehova,
When will I see Your precious face, my God!

O King above all kings,
honored among humanity,
Your blessed feet are my refuge, Lord.

2.
You have promised that You are coming soon.
I hold on to that promise
and wait for You with longing and eager expectation.

3.
Even if heaven and earth pass away,
will Your words ever pass away,
O blessed treasure of my soul?
4.
In the midst of these frightening trials, Lord,
how can I remain joyful and at peace?

5.
My understanding grows dark,
my heart becomes week,
my grief increases,
and I cry out to You, Lord.

6.
You entered into death to give us life.
O precious treasure,
You are the medicine, the source of life
And the seat of blessings, I bow before You.

O Crown and glory of kings,
look upon this wreched person
and fill me with Your glorious presence.
Comfort and strengthen me with Your glory.
