Meaning:

Awake! Awake! Sound the trumpet!
Let us go forth, carrying the banners of the Gospel.

Every day, thousands who are enslaved to death
Are falling along the path to destruction.
There is not much time left
Before darkness covers the earth
And deep darkness covers the nations.

Let us turn away from the pleasures of this world
And finish the race set before us.
Let us take our place in the battle
And stand ready to fight.
Our Commander is with us—
The Lion of Judah.
So let us move forward boldly,
Without fear.

Those who have endured suffering,
Those who have been rejected and despised,
Those who have sacrificed for the Lord Jesus the King—
They will receive their reward
For faithfully serving their King.
They will reign in glory,
Perfected and complete forever.
