In the times the Most High gave me
to pray with a broken and surrendered heart,
He allowed me, His servant, to remain in this world
so that He might cleanse and purify me again.

He is the One who truly loved me,
the One who cared for me like the apple of His eye,
the One who kept me from falling.
He is bringing every good thing to completion in my life.

He gave me strength
to stand firmly in truth before my enemies without fear,
and to know You, eternal God,
as my only true Friend and draw near to You.

Your Word has always been my help:
to drive away every fear and doubt,
to escape Satan's schemes,
and to gain victory over sin.

Lord, strengthen me through prayer
so that I may hear Your voice.
Enable me, Beloved Lord of my life,
to keep praying without becoming weary
and never to give up.
