1.
Can we ever forsake the Lord, our Shepherd?
He is the One who gave us life.
He will lead us through all our days;
so let us all draw near to Him.

2.
Let us listen to His word every day
and gladly follow Him.
Then His name will always be a blessing to us,
and His name will be glorified.

3.
Shall we become so captivated by the glory of this world
that we forget our love for Him?
Even in the dark and difficult valleys,
should we ever forget the One who protects and cares for us?

4.
If we forsake the Great Shepherd,
we will wander far and suffer greatly.
Let us do everything for Him,
so that we may live with Him in joy.

5.
The One who is the greatest among the Shepherds will come,
and we will receive an unfading crown.
So let us live here on earth
by keeping His word, so that we may receive that crown.
