Meaning:

O glorious and exalted Lord Jesus,
Ocean of mercy,
You who have done so much good for us—
We, Your servants, bow before You.
Your feet are our refuge.

1.
You shed Your precious and spotless blood,
Cleansing us from every stain
And freeing us from the consequences of our sinful deeds.
Because You have set us free,
We bow before You in gratitude.

2.
When You went into the garden of Gethsemane
And suffered such deep anguish,
Sweating drops of blood in great sorrow,
My heart is deeply moved
Whenever I remember all that You endured.

3.
Annas, Caiaphas, and Herod
Mocked You and treated You cruelly,
Yet You endured it all.
Even when You stood before the Roman governor,
You did not resist or speak back in anger.

4.
Even as the wicked shouted and demanded
That You be crucified,
Your heart never gave way to anger or revenge.
Your face remained radiant with purity,
Filled with peace and gentle dignity.

5.
May we, Your servants, learn well
From Your gentle and humble character,
So that we may continue forward
Even in the midst of great opposition.
Lord, let the light of Your face
Shine upon us continually.

6.
O Teacher and Guide of the whole world,
O Source of everlasting life,
O Tree of life that gives Your servants
All that their hearts truly need,
May You continually grant us
The protection and refuge of Your holy presence.

7.
O the One who possesses knowledge of the ultimate truth
O One who stands against the evil of this world,
O echo of the true Word of God,
O precious fruit of eternal life,
O river of mercy—
Here we come to You,
With no one else but You to depend on.
