         Theenilum madhurameshuvin naamam divya madhuramaame-athu
         Thedukil ulakilevanum sudrudam
          Nedum nithyaanandathe

  1. Paathayilennum nalloru deepavu-maapathil abhayavume-ente
    Vyaadhiyil aushadha maadhiyil aanandam
    Sakalavum enikkavanaam-
     
  2. Loka sukhangal swapna samaana-maakeyakannozhiyum-sarvva-
    Shokavum theerkkumeshuvin naamam
    Shaashwatham shaashwthame-
     
  3. Maanava roopa maninj-avanulakil thaanavanaay enkilum-sarvva
    Maanavar vaanavar akhilarum orupol
    Than padam kumbidume-
     
  4. Laabha mennulakam karuthuvath akhilam
    Chetha mennennunnu njaan-ente
    Labhaminium-enneshuvin thruppadam chernnidum njaanoduvil-

Meaning:

Jesus’ name is sweeter than honey,
truly filled with divine sweetness.
Whoever seeks Him in this world
will surely find eternal joy.

His name is a bright lamp for my journey
and a refuge in times of trouble.
In sickness, He is my healing;
in anxiety, He is my joy.
He is everything I need.

2.
The pleasures of this world are like a dream;
they eventually fade away and disappear.
But the name of Jesus
brings an end to every sorrow—it is everlasting.

3.
Though He took on human form
and humbled Himself in this world,
all humanity and all the heavenly beings
will one day bow before Him.

4.
Everything the world considers gain,
I now regard as loss.
My true and lasting gain is this:
to be united with Jesus at His feet
when my earthly journey finally ends.
