Thedidane-maadal neengaan

1.   Mathi thalirathil athi gunam arulidumithu
   Nidhi samamaam-gana-mruthi haramaamithu--
    
2. Karunayin jalanidhi yithilarum durithami-
   Tharivarulum-bahu-krupa nirayumithu—
    
3. Thiruravamithu mama shubhaganam anavadhiyarulidum-
   para-mirulodumithu--
    
4. Shubhayugam athilahamanavathu vareyithu
   Prabhayekum mayi-krupa thookum ithu-

Meaning:

I will seek — the divine Word; I will seek it with clarity.
I must seek it, so that all my wandering may come to an end.

1. It will bring abundant goodness to my mind;
   It destroys death and gives life.

2. It is an ocean of mercy;
   It removes suffering, gives understanding,
   And is filled with abundant grace.

3. It is the holy voice that brings countless blessings to me;
   It drives away darkness and brings goodness.

4. Until the blessed age and the end of my earthly journey,
   It will give me light and shower me with grace.
