and afflicted by suffering.
Must Your coming be delayed
when we long to see the home You have prepared
and finally find rest?

the wounds You suffered,
must Your coming be delayed
when we long for You to wipe away
the tears of Your beloved people?

and take up the rule of Your kingdom?
