        Vandanaameshu devaa! vandanam jeeva naadhaa!
         Vandanam mannidathil vanna dayaaparane!

   Sankadom theerthavane nin kazhal kumbidunnen
    
2. Neechanaamen perkkaayi nindakaletta devaa!
   Nisthula krupaa nidhe! nin sneham nisseemame!
    
3. Kroora vedanayettu krooshil marichuyirthu
   Ghora marana bhayam theere thakarthavane!
    
4. Nindya saathaanya nuka bendhithar aayavarkku
   Nithya swaathanthryam naadhaa! nee vilambaram cheythu
    
5. Paapiye thedi vanna paavana roopaa devaa
   Paadam paniyumenne paalanam cheyka naadhaa!-

Meaning:

Salute to You, Jesus our God!
Salute to You, Lord and Giver of Life!
Salute to You, compassionate Savior
Who came to this earth!

You washed away the stain of my sin
With Your precious blood
And took away all my sorrow.
I bow down at Your feet
In worship and gratitude.

O God, You endured shame and humiliation
For someone as unworthy as me!
O priceless Treasure of Grace,
Your love is boundless and beyond measure!

You endured cruel suffering,
Died on the cross, and rose again.
You completely shattered
The terror and power of death.

4.
To those bound under the shameful yoke of Satan,
O Lord, You proclaimed
The gift of eternal freedom.

5.
O Holy Savior, You came seeking sinners!
I bow at Your feet—
Please watch over me, Lord,
And keep me safely in Your care.
