   Daiva-hitham nammal-arinjiduvin
   Unnatha jeevitham nayichiduvin
   Mannavan varavinaay-orungiduvin-

Meaning:

Our mighty Jesus is our faithful Helper;
He is our health, strength, peace, and everything we need.

Even when our hearts are troubled by anxiety,
Even when illness leaves us weak and exhausted,
Even when everyone close to us abandons us,
The One who watches over us from every side
Will guide and sustain us.

2.
Let us give up the pleasures of this world;
Let us bear the reproach of the cross.
Let us go as witnesses for Jesus,
Enduring hardship and fighting the good fight.

3.
Let us light the lamp of love;
Let us proclaim the message of life.
Let us remain continually awake in prayer,
So that sinners may turn their hearts back to God.

4.
Be filled with the Spirit and strengthened.
Let us understand God's will for our lives.
Let us live lives worthy of our heavenly calling,
And prepare ourselves for the coming of our King.
