Meaning:

1.
I will praise You all my life,
My Lord, who redeemed my soul.

I will joyfully sing Hallelujah,
To the Lord who has taken away all my sorrow, day by day.

2.
When the trials come like scorching heat,
My mighty Lord is with me;
He stands beside me as my faithful help.

3.
He protects me with His mighty power,
So that I will not be struck
By the arrows of the enemy.

4.
Even when the fierce winds blow against me,
His gentle words give me strength
And renew my heart.

5.
When I grow weary and stumble along this earthly journey,
He holds me up with the hands
That were once pierced by nails.

6.
I wait here on earth each day,
Holding on to His promise:
“I will come soon.”
