“Manujanivan bhaagyvaan” enna reethi

1. Vaazhthum njaan yahovaye sarvva kaalavum muda
   Sthothrameppozhum mama naavil ninnuyarnnidum
    
2. Ennullam prashamsi chidunnennum yehovayil
   Mannileliyor-abhinandi chidumaayathu
    
3. Ennoadothu chernnu mahathwam nalka devanu
   Onnaay chernnu naam thirunaamethe-yuyarthuka
    
4. Njaan praarthichathinnavan nalki yuthara mudan
   En bhayangal sarvvavum pokki veendeduthu maam
    
5. Thanne nokkiyorkku prakaasham vannavar mukham
   Onnilenkilumida vannathilla lejjippaan
    
6. Saadhu njaan karanjathu kettu devenennude
   Baadhayokkayil ninnumeki raksha poornnamaay
    
7. Daiva doothaneppozhum bhakthanmaarude chuttum
   Kaaval ninnu ha! viduvichidunnu shakthiyaal
    
8. Daivam nallavan-ennathevarum ruchikkuvin
   Evan thanne nambumo noonam bhaagyavaanavan.

Meaning:

1.
I will bless Yahweh at all times, continually;
His praise will always rise
From my lips.

2.
My heart will continually boast in Yahweh.
Let the humble and the lowly hear this
And rejoice.

3.
Join with me and let us magnify the Lord;
Let us come together as one
And exalt His holy name.

4.
I prayed to Him,
And He answered me without delay.
He removed all my fears
And delivered me completely.

5.
Those who look to Him receive light,
And their faces shine with hope.
They will never be put to shame.

6.
This poor and helpless person cried out,
And God heard me.
He delivered me completely
From all my troubles and afflictions.

7.
The angel of God continually surrounds
Those who fear Him,
Standing guard around them
And delivering them by His mighty power.

8.
Come, everyone, and experience for yourselves
That the Lord is good!
Blessed indeed is the person
Who puts his trust in Him.
