What a blessing this is, my dear friend!
What a blessing indeed!
This is the precious blessing
That the Almighty has given to His church.

Though we are not physically strong,
We make no claim to human worthiness or privilege.
We are not the highest in society,
But what God has given me is more than enough.

There are no elaborate ornaments or worldly status here,

No striving for position or honour.

There is no desire to fight against others,

And when we are wronged, we simply choose to forgive.

If we endure a period of struggle here,

We will enter the Lord's unshakable home.

Even if our family name or earthly influence is insignificant,

It has no value in the presence of the Almighty.

If we have no outward beauty or worldly adornment,
What harm can come from that?
Isn't the body itself only dust of the earth?

The beauty that our Lord has given to this dust is enough.

We are not people who seek pleasure
In worldly celebrations and entertainments.
We do not seek positions of authority,
Nor do we crave the praise of the crowd.
We have no desire to place ourselves above others.

We do not judge people according to worldly distinctions.
We do not place our hope in gold or riches.
We do not harm others because of religious hostility;
Instead, we seek to do what is good for everyone alike.

Our foundation is not human tradition or ancestry;
The Holy Scriptures alone are our foundation.
They are the answer to our shortcomings

Everything else is a source of endless doubt.

Why should we boast in human strength?
Hasn't Immanuel already given us the gift of His grace?
If we have a willing heart, that is enough, my friend.
God's spiritual gifts cannot be obtained with money.

The Lord's church will come out of its many weaknesses
And move forward in His grace.
When the Son of God comes,
He will take His people to Himself.

All believers will run together
To seek the presence of the Almighty.
I know that one day will come
When we will receive the crown of eternal life.

Though we may suffer greatly here,
There we will receive far greater comfort.
We will receive a glorious inheritance
In the new heavens and the new earth.
