1. Vaazhthuka than shudha naamethe perthu
   Paarthivan thannupakaarathe orthu-
    
2. Ninnakruthyam paranokkayum pokki
   Thinnamaay rogangal neekki nannaakki-
    
3. Nanmayaal vaaykavan thrupthiye thannu
   Navyamaakkunnu nin yauvanaminnu-
    
4. Makkalil kaarunyam thaathanannonam
   Bhaktharil vaatsalya vaanavan noonam-
    
5. Pullinu thullyamee jeevitham vayalin
   Poovenna polithu pokunnithulavil-
    
6. Than niyamangale kaathidunnorkkum
   Thannude daasarkkum thaan daya kaakkum-
    
7. Nithya raajaavivanorkkukil sarvva
   Srushttikalum sthuthikkunna yehova-

Meaning:

Praise the Lord, O my soul—
Praise the Lord, O my soul.

1.
Praise His holy name again and again;
Remember the blessings the King has shown you.

2.
He forgives all your sins and wrongdoings;
He heals your diseases and restores you completely.

3.
He satisfies your mouth with good things;
He renews your youth and gives you new strength.

4.
As a father shows compassion to his children,
So surely the Lord is loving and compassionate toward His faithful people.

5.
Human life is like grass,
And like a flower of the field, it soon passes away.

6.
The Lord shows His mercy to those who keep His commandments
And to those who faithfully serve Him.

7.
He is the eternal King. Remember Him!
Let all His creation praise the Lord.
