Our Beloved will come from heaven
To gather us to Himself.
We will see our Lord and Savior
And behold His radiant face in person.

The saints who are sleeping in the earth
Will rise and join those in heaven,
Clothed with immortal bodies.
In the twinkling of an eye,
We will rise and be caught up
Into His presence.

2.
Though we live as strangers here on earth,
Enduring suffering and bearing rejection,
Our troubles and sorrows will soon be over.
We will live joyfully
In our heavenly home.

3.
Dear friends who long to see the Bridegroom,
We have been waiting and counting the days.
The time has come for us to hear
The sound of the trumpet in our ears.

4.
Let us wake up with eager hearts
And prepare ourselves for the Lord's coming.
Let us wait for Him with great longing,
For the Lord will come soon.
