Heaven is His throne and the earth His footstool.
Yet this great and glorious God
came down to earth in humility—
the One who became a lowly man.

When I had fallen into the path of sin
and into the pit of destruction,
Jesus willingly came searching for me,
reached out His hand, and lifted me up.

2.
He is the Good Shepherd who came searching
for the sheep that had gone astray.
When He found me, He lifted me onto His shoulders
and carried me home safely.

3.
He gave sight to the blind,
hearing to the deaf, and strength to the lame.
To those who wander helplessly without knowing the way,
He Himself is the Way and the Life.

What humility! What sacrifice!
What amazing love this is!
When I stop and think about it,
it is like an endless ocean—
boundless, immeasurable, and beyond all limits.
