My heart longs to see my beloved Lord,
Who will soon come in the clouds of heaven.
My heart yearns for You; my hope grows stronger.
Beloved Lord, please come soon!

We hear the sounds of wars and the fear they bring everywhere.
Famine and disease are spreading across the earth.
The nations are distressed and confused,
Crying out without hope.

2.
Trees like the fig tree are blossoming,
And the final days are drawing near.
Let us prepare ourselves with hope and expectation
To welcome our Lord and Savior.

3.
The day is near when we will hear the Lord’s trumpet.
The time has come for the Lord Jesus to return.
All those who have died in Christ
Will soon be raised to life.

4.
Awake, true Church, and prepare
To rise and meet Him in the clouds of heaven.
The hands of our Lord, bearing the marks of the nails,
Will wipe away every one of our tears.
